Each set is composed of hand-cut plastic and has been attached to steel posts with rubber backs. They are light-weight for comfort and are coated with a gloss sealant that is water resistant but not 100% waterproof. [They can get wet, but avoid wearing them in the shower or pool to keep them in great shape].
